Angie Paola Valverde Abril

Co-Founder & CEO, Tynkr

Angie spent most of her career inside QA teams — not advising from the outside. She led automation and quality engineering at Global App Testing, Sophos Solutions, DaCodes, HelloBUILD, and Blossom, across products ranging from enterprise security software to early-stage SaaS.

She co-founded Tynkr after seeing the same problem repeat itself: teams with solid Playwright suites but no way to make the results legible to the people making release decisions.

Background

  • Led QA and automation at Global App Testing, Sophos Solutions, DaCodes, HelloBUILD, and Blossom
  • Worked across web, mobile, API, and AI products, from early-stage SaaS to enterprise software
  • Built and maintained Playwright, Selenium, and Postman test suites integrated with CI pipelines

How I write

  • Grounds recommendations in direct QA implementation work, not abstract framework preference.
  • Checks framework-specific claims against official product documentation and public vendor sources before publishing.
  • Separates practical release guidance from product messaging so readers can evaluate tradeoffs for their own teams.
  • Includes methodology notes, technical review details, and references on Tynkr articles when the topic depends on external documentation.
