Issue Tracking

Create Azure DevOps work items from Playwright test failures automatically

Tynkr creates Azure DevOps work items when workflows fail and links test results to your boards and sprints. Each work item includes the failure summary, root cause, affected test name, and execution evidence — so your team can track QA failures alongside the rest of the development work.

What you can do

  • Automatically create bugs in Azure DevOps when release-blocking tests fail
  • Link Playwright test results to the current sprint iteration
  • Track test failure trends per board area for release planning

Common questions

How does Tynkr integrate with Azure DevOps?

Tynkr connects to Azure DevOps via personal access token. When a workflow fails, Tynkr creates a work item in the configured project and area path, attaches execution evidence, and optionally links it to the current iteration. Configuration is done once per workflow in the Tynkr dashboard.
